If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation. This includes exchanging information with other entities for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with service providers that perform services for us or on our behalf. Railway provides hosting and database services for account, order, entry, and security records maintained on the Site. Stripe processes payments and related transaction information. Resend and Google Workspace process email. Twilio will process telephone numbers and verification messages when SMS verification becomes available. We may disclose delivery information to carriers or fulfillment providers as needed to ship orders. If we engage a sweepstakes administrator, we may disclose entry and contact information needed for administration, winner selection, and verification. We may disclose required winner information to tax advisers and tax authorities for reporting purposes. We may disclose winner information as required by law or the applicable Official Rules. We require service providers to use information only for the contracted services or as otherwise permitted by law.

Advertising Partners

We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure visits to the Site and to show and measure our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. Through the Meta Pixel, Meta receives the pages you visit on the Site, your IP address, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers, and Meta may combine this information with other information it holds about you under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies and Web Beacons

We use essential cookies required for sessions and operation of the Site. On the Site’s store pages we also use the Meta Pixel, a web beacon that may set or read cookies of Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement, as described under “Analytics and Advertising.” You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login, checkout, or other Site functions from operating properly.

Analytics and Advertising

We use the Meta Pixel on the Site’s store pages to count page visits and to show and measure our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. It is not used on account, checkout, or order confirmation pages or in the Site’s administration area, and it does not receive your name, email address, telephone number, or purchase details. We have turned off Meta’s automatic event collection, so the Meta Pixel reports only the store pages you view and when you select the “Shop now” button on the home page. You can stop the Meta Pixel from loading in your browser by selecting “Don’t share my activity for advertising” on our Privacy Choices page at https://LoneStarWinners.com/privacychoices; that choice is stored in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out and the Meta Pixel does not load. The following links provide general information about privacy and advertising choices:

Browser-based cookie preferences are browser specific. If you change browsers or devices or clear cookies, you may need to reapply those settings.

DATA RETENTION

We retain each category of personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Where we cannot specify a fixed retention period, we determine that period using the criteria below. We determine retention by the record’s purpose and the period reasonably needed for that purpose and as required by applicable law. Account records are retained as needed to maintain your account and address security or account disputes. Purchase records are retained for order fulfillment, refunds, chargebacks, accounting, tax requirements, and related claims. Sweepstakes and mail-in records are retained for entry validation, winner verification, prize delivery, and resolution of disputes or regulatory inquiries. Winner and tax records are retained for required reporting, tax examinations, and related claims. We retain security logs and communications as needed to investigate incidents, resolve inquiries, and document those activities. Applicable legal requirements or pending claims may require longer retention of specific records. We retain records of California privacy requests and our responses for 24 months after our final response, unless applicable law requires longer retention. We use these records only to document and review our compliance with California privacy law. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. We may retain de-identified entry records to document administration without reasonably identifying an entrant. We maintain de-identified information in that form and don’t attempt to reidentify it except to test the de-identification process.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us. Once you have used these links to leave the Site, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Site.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. We cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

The Site is intended for adults who are at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where they reside. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information through the Site, please contact us using the information below, and we will delete the account and the associated data. We do not knowingly process the personal data of anyone under 18 for targeted advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal data of anyone under 16.

CONTROLS FOR BROWSER PRIVACY SIGNALS

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control: when your browser sends that signal, the Meta Pixel does not load and we treat the signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser. You can also opt out on our Privacy Choices page at https://LoneStarWinners.com/privacychoices.

OPTIONS REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION

Account Information

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us using the information below. These request methods also apply to personal information collected through mail-in entries or winner verification.

When we grant a deletion request, we delete or de-identify the personal information covered by that request. We may retain information when an applicable exception permits or requires retention, including to complete a transaction, prevent fraud, or comply with law. An entry record is retained in identifiable form only when a lawful basis permits that retention.

Emails and Communications

For questions about account, order, sweepstakes, or verification messages, you may contact us using the information below. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.
